+ What is a Chemical peel?

A chemical peel involves the application of a variety of chemical solutions to remove the damaged outer layers of dead skin cells from the skin’s surface. It is extremely beneficial for many skin conditions, such as hyperpigmentation, rosacea, acne, sun damage, and photoaging. Removing the dead skin cells stimulates the regenerative process and you will notice improvements with wrinkles, fine lines, texture, tone, hydration, pore size, clearing of blemishes, and an overall healthier appearance to the skin.

+ What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a skin care treatment that removes dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the surface of the face. This speeds up cellular turnover and immediately yields soft, radiant, and silky smooth skin. There is no “downtime” with this treatment.

+ What is Dermalinfusion?

Dermalinfusion is an advanced skin resurfacing treatment that simultaneously combines exfoliation, extraction, and serum infusion to improve skin health, function, and appearance.

+ What is Microneedling?

Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling is a skin rejuvenation procedure that uses tiny sharp needles to create small holes in the skin, called micro-channels. These micro-injuries trigger your skin’s natural healing process, including the production of collagen, and improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and pigment concerns.

+ What can I expect after a waxing service?

The waxed skin might be tender for a couple of days. We advise taking ibuprofen to decrease inflammation and skin sensitivity

+ Are there any topical creams or medications that I should avoid prior to getting waxed?

Yes! Prior to your appointment, please avoid using internal medications such as Accutane, and topical treatments that include Retin-A, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, Differin, Tazorac, Avage, StriVectin, Renova, Proactiv, Avita, and benzoyl peroxide. The products listed can enhance sensitivity that could lead to lifting of the skin when removing hair.
